I’m excited for the new Lean Legs Challenge to start in March!! This challenge is going to focus on getting your legs stronger, toned, and leaner. The exercises will consist of doing squats, sumo squats, wall sits, calf raises, lunges, and jumping jacks! This is your challenge! So if it is easy for you, you can always do more advance versions by adding in weights, doing more, etc. If it is hard, for you, do what you can! You will get stronger and by sticking with it, you will be able to build upon it each day! Please feel free to post here how you are doing with the challenge (comments/pictures/questions), or on the Fit Chicks Central Facebook page, twitter, instagram! I will be using hashtag #fitchixlegs on facebook, twitter and IG for shout outs, encouragement, pictures and more, so follow along!! The goal here is to challenge yourself, do your best, and to get results, and of course to have fuuuun!

Calf Raises: You can do these with weights or without. You can also stand on the edge of some sort of platform to make them a little more challenging!
Lunges: Advanced Version: You can hold onto weights when doing lunges. Just make sure you are keeping your form!!
Sumo Squats: Get your legs out wider than a typical squat. For advanced versions hold on to a weight, kettlebell, or medicine ball!
Wall Sits: Advanced version: hold onto weights or rotating from side to side while holding a medicine ball.
Jumping Jacks: Advanced version-go as fast as you can; really push off with your legs. Make sure your hands touch up top each time.
